- Is there a decent source of information on I/O and file I/O because
- all of the books I have looked at don't seem very good in this area.
- All they say is something like
- 'Input and Output is one of the more complicated issues in any
- languages ..... etc...'

- then give an inadequate and simplistic view of the subject.
- Opening, reading and writing to files is not particularly difficult
- but this is about as far as most books go. One book I read only had
- 2 pages on this and that was all.

- So is there a book that is good for this subject or specialises in it
- or are they any WWW or ftp sites with decent information on it.
